Quinn Brooks is a character on the pretend story, Nothing Is Ever As It Seems. She's the half sister/guardian of Taylor Brooks and the wife of Colt Haynes.
Biography[]
Prior to Season 1[]
Quinn Michelle Brooks is the daughter of a former bartender and a rich lawyer. Quinn's mom was a bartender and her father was a college student that was just looking for some fun on Spring Break. When Quinn's mom found out that she was pregnant she tried to get the father to be involved but he wasn't ready to be a parent and denied her going back to his college in California.
When Quinn was little her mom would leech Quinn on family members so she could go party and do whatever she wanted to. Then when she was old enough to stay alone which in her mom's mind was age 10, her mom would randomly leave her to go to clubs. On multiple occasions her mother would bring home random guys. Quinn is plagued by the terrible memories of some of the drunken fights her mom had with all those different guys. Sometimes it'd get so bad that the guys would hit her too.
Quinn worked super hard for a schloarship for a college in San Diego.She got the scholarship and left her mother and never turned back.She didn't want to have anything to do with her mother anymore.
Quinn graduated college and married her college sweetheart and together they moved into a house. One day,Quinn found out that her father had parented another child and that the child's mother was no better than her own mother. Quinn felt that it was her obligation to take him in. Colt was reluctant at first but soon after seeing how much it meant to her,agreed. Quinn and Colt got legal guardian rights over Taylor and have been raising him ever since.
Personality[]
She is funny, sweet, caring, bubbly, laid-back, great at advice, eccentric, and lovable.But she's also honest and knows when give tough love. She has the tendency to act like a mom more than she should,but she's loved for it. She has a heart of gold and is filled with determination.She believes that there is always light at the end of the tunnel.She doesn't like to give up on anyone.
